This tour has been created for those coming to Venice for the first time, who would like an introduction to its history by visiting St. Mark’s Piazza and its main sights: the Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica.
The former was the political heart of the Republic, but it was also the home of the Doge and the seat of political justice. During the visit, we will also cross the Bridge of Sighs to visit the Palace Prisons.
The Basilica, constructed in Oriental style and guarding the relics of St Mark, will astound you with the magnificence of its golden mosaics.
